Small village, rich rural heritage
Coudoux is one of the smallest communes in the metropolis, halfway between Aix-en-Provence and Salon-de-Provence. The old village is announced by the 17th-century Saint-Antoine wayside shrine, followed by the 18th-century church of Saint-Michel with a sundial on its façade and the Pelico dovecote on the square. Eighteenth-century country houses, fountains and old wells all around show how farming shaped the place.
Twenty minutes to the Arc valley
The drive is 15 km, about 19 minutes. The river Arc borders the commune to the south, and to the north the Marseille canal follows the hillside, passing through six tunnels within Coudoux alone. November and December: pressing season
