Terms and conditions

1. Purpose

These terms govern private-hire passenger transport services (VTC) booked with KD DRIVING, a French SASU company registered in Marseille under number 999 611 577, with its registered office at 8 rue de la République, bureau 3, 13001 Marseille, trading as Marseille Airport Transfer, through marseilleairporttransfer.com, by phone or by WhatsApp. Booking a service means accepting these terms.

2. Booking

Online bookings must be made at least 1 hour before pick-up. A booking is final once a written confirmation has been sent by email. The price is set when booking and includes the vehicle, driver, fuel, tolls, luggage within the vehicle’s capacity, insurance and VAT. Selected extras (child seats) are added to the vehicle price.

3. Payment

Payment is made either online by card when booking, through our secure payment provider Stripe, or to the driver, by card on board, in cash or with a secure payment link. Companies may arrange payment by bank transfer in advance.

4. Waiting time and delays

At the airport, 1 hour of free waiting is granted from the actual landing time of the flight, which is tracked in real time. At a railway station, free waiting is 20 minutes from the train’s actual arrival; at the cruise port, 30 minutes from the agreed pick-up time. Beyond that, extra waiting may be charged per 15-minute period. If the customer cannot be reached and does not show up by the end of the waiting time, the driver is released and the full fare is due.

5. Cancellation and changes

Cancellation is free more than 24 hours before pick-up; online payments are then refunded in full. Cancellations less than 24 hours before, or a no-show, are charged in full. Changes (time, address, vehicle) are possible subject to availability; the price is recalculated if the route changes.

6. On board

Vehicles are non-smoking. Eating or drinking alcohol requires the driver’s agreement. Customers are liable for damage caused to the vehicle by themselves or their party; deep cleaning or repairs are charged. Children must travel in a seat suited to their age and weight, booked with the ride.

7. Liability

KD DRIVING undertakes to be punctual. It cannot be held liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond its control (accidents, extreme weather, unexpected traffic, demonstrations, road closures). Items carried remain the passengers’ responsibility; KD DRIVING is not liable for items left in the vehicle.

8. Personal data

Data collected when booking is used only to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy.

9. Complaints and mediation

Complaints can be sent to contact@marseilleairporttransfer.com. Consumers may also refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator named in the French version, or use the European online dispute resolution platform.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law.
