Marseille Provence Airport (code MRS) is in Marignane, about 25 km north-west of Marseille and 25 km from Aix-en-Provence. Here is what you need for your arrival and departure.

The terminals

The airport has two terminals. Terminal 1 handles most airlines, in several connected halls. Terminal 2, a few minutes’ walk away, is used by some low-cost airlines. Your ticket or airline app shows the terminal.

Where to meet your driver

Your driver waits in the arrivals hall of your terminal, just after baggage claim, holding a sign with your name. They track your flight: if it is late, they adjust their arrival, and waiting is free for 1 hour after landing. Their details are sent to you by text or WhatsApp when they set off.

Phone off or luggage delayed? Message us on WhatsApp at +33 7 74 95 34 77 and we will let your driver know.

For a departure

Your driver drops you in front of your terminal’s departures hall. Plan to arrive 2 hours before a European flight and 3 hours before a long-haul flight, and add a margin for rush-hour traffic around Marseille.

Other ways into town

Coaches link the airport with Saint-Charles station and Aix-en-Provence, and a shuttle serves Vitrolles Aéroport Marseille Provence train station. Taxis wait outside the terminals. A pre-booked transfer gives you a fixed price known in advance and a meet and greet in the hall, handy with children or lots of luggage.
