A walled town near Salon
Six kilometres from Salon-de-Provence, Pélissanne has kept the historic centre of an old fortified town. You enter beneath the belfry, built in 1556 where the drawbridge once stood and topped in 1702 with a wrought-iron dome. Further on, the Pelican fountain, unveiled in 1770 in Calissanne stone, is a listed monument. The Italian-style church of Saint-Maurice dates from 1824; its bell tower was rebuilt after the 1909 earthquake.
Via the A7, Salon exit
The trip is 30 km and takes around 30 minutes. From the south, the A7 serves Pélissanne at exit 15, Salon Sud, after the A54 interchange. Your driver tracks your flight and meets you in arrivals. Strolls along the Touloubre
